The 25 mile TT on the N1/25C provided a classic, honest test against the watch. With the metronomic rhythm of starters leaving the start line every sixty seconds, this Fenland Clarion CC promotion faced a light breeze that ensured the results were a fair reflection of mid-season form.

Early in the day, Samuel Barnwell set the benchmark with a time of 01:02:16, throwing down the gauntlet to the rest of the field.

The leaderboard didn't stay static for long, as Pete Palmer stormed through the finish to lower the best mark to 01:00:52.

Ultimately, it was William Hayes who proved to be the class of the field today. pacing his effort perfectly to stop the clock at 00:58:47 and take the win.

Pete Palmer put in a valiant ride to secure 2nd place with a time of 01:00:52, while Ian Wroblewski rounded out the podium in 3rd (01:00:54).

In the Women's category, Leah Cuthbertson took top honors with a fantastic time of 01:03:46. Emily Varley followed in second place (01:04:15).

The battle of the Road Bikes saw Samuel Barnwell emerge victorious, clocking 01:02:16. Diego Patteri chased hard to take the runner-up spot in 01:02:53.

A special mention goes to John Robinson, who produced the ride of the day relative to his handicap, beating his predicted time by +336s.
