Paul Pardoe Claims Stunning Victory

The 12.7 mile TT on the NC13/C provided a classic, honest test against the watch. With the metronomic rhythm of starters leaving the start line every sixty seconds, this Rockingham Forest Wheelers promotion faced a light breeze that ensured the results were a fair reflection of mid-season form.

Early in the day, Richard Golding set the benchmark with a time of 00:29:26, throwing down the gauntlet to the rest of the field.

The leaderboard didn't stay static for long, as Jamie Murray stormed through the finish to lower the best mark to 00:28:00.

Ultimately, it was Paul Pardoe who proved to be the class of the field today. pacing his effort perfectly to stop the clock at 00:26:52 and take the win.

Sam McDonald put in a valiant ride to secure 2nd place with a time of 00:27:24, while George Fox rounded out the podium in 3rd (00:27:37).

In the Women's category, Carolyn Pfalzgraf took top honors with a fantastic time of 00:34:41. Sally Maitland followed in second place (00:35:36).

The battle of the Road Bikes saw Alex Whitmore emerge victorious, clocking 00:28:52. Chris Fowler chased hard to take the runner-up spot in 00:30:02.

A special mention goes to Hayley Moore, who produced the ride of the day relative to her handicap, beating her predicted time by +209s.
